Service Description

Proofreading is the comparison of a typeset proof with the original document that has already been through the editing process; or a comparison of two sets of proofs. Proofreading makes use of a specific set of symbols and conventions to mark errors and make corrections. Certain texts, like textbooks, may require multiple rounds of proofreading as illustrations and other elements are added. 'Blind' or 'cold' proofreading can also be performed. Proofreading can be performed on hard or electronic copy.
